“I’ve learned that every emotion is good” – Joy, Inside Out 2

Our emotions are complex and can often be difficult to process. With empathy and care, Aromm Psychology offers a space to discuss and explore your emotions, helping you to reconnect with them.

Please note that I’m on maternity leave from March 2026, returning late 2026.

Hello,

My name is Julie Chhouk and I am the Psychologist behind Aromm Psychology. My role here is to provide a safe space to discuss and reflect upon life experiences, with the aim to reconnect people with themselves.

At Aromm Psychology, sessions are guided by psychodynamic principals. I tailor sessions depending on each person’s unique needs by utilising a range of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Being an Australian-born Cambodian, my passion is to support individuals from different cultural backgrounds, to embrace and explore their identity and create meaningful changes in their lives.

I offer sessions in English and Khmer

Please note that I’m on maternity leave from March 2026, returning late 2026.
